Prayer, Praise and Pecan began in 2020 at Iona and Jeff Rossely’s farm shortly after Covid 19 hit the globe.
Due to the restrictions creating outdoor worship was the natural way to go – it allowed the community to come together in a safe outdoor setting. Gathering under a large pecan tree surrounded by farm animals and worshipping under the open heavens allows many to experience a new level of worship – one where God’s creation joins in.
As PPP has grown in popularity over the last two years, Alpha courses and community events are now part of the annual schedule, with an array of social events planned for 2023.
Author and speaker Iona Rossely runs PPP in conjunction with a strong team of loving, passionate people who make up the backbone of PPP. Our core purposes and values are threefold:
